Information We Process
We process your email address, profile name and internal user ID. Core exploration features process precise device location, generated discovery points, saved routes, notes, search intentions, and photos you choose to attach.
How Data Is Used
- To authenticate your account and keep saved discoveries linked to you.
- To store notes, photos, and exploration history inside the app.
- To generate nearby discovery points and provide live trip guidance.
- To maintain app security, prevent abuse, and support core functionality.
Firebase Services
We use Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage, Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and non-fatal technical errors, and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver optional push notifications. These services may process app instance identifiers, device information, product interactions, crash diagnostics, and push tokens. We do not use this data for advertising or cross-company tracking.
Retention and Deletion
Your account data remains available while your account is active. You can permanently delete the account from the Profile screen in the app. This removes the profile, authentication and push tokens, generated sessions, saved locations, notes, photos, and achievements. Encrypted operational backups expire according to our backup retention schedule.
Your Choices
Location, camera, photo library, and push permissions are controlled through your device settings. Push notifications are optional. UrbexMania does not access the advertising identifier and does not perform cross-app tracking.
